Manukjan Veronica was born in Prague (Czech Republic) in 1983. She got her exotic last name from her Armenian husband. She was always interested in painting. Initially Veronika was attracted to realism, landscapes, still lifes, portraits. She was very impressed with the works of Salvador Dali and surrealism for some time. Later she went from dynamic abstract paintings (which she still paints today) to her main style which could be called mosaic naive art. The artist likes cubism and it is reflected in her works .
Her style can be described as a dynamic process full of optimism, passion and artistic temperament. Veronica uses rich, strong and contrast colors which carry a strong charge of energy. Veronica likes travelling, the artist travels a lot to get new ideas in art, fashion, interior design. She loves Armenia and Italy, and this love inspires her in her creative work.
Veronica makes contemporary paintings, which are particularly well suited to modern apartments and houses, she loves refined Venetian style, the Venetian ornaments combined with the Armenian rich ornaments and colors can be found in some of her works. She draws inspiration from travels to Italy and Armenia.
