Rinat Zhamalov was born in 1962 in Astrakhan, Russia. In 1981 he graduated from P.A. Vlasov Astrakhan Fine Arts School.
The most active creative period of the artist began in the last few years.
Many of his works are performed in expressive surreal style, on the verge of fantasy and the grotesque.
In 2015 the artist took part in the international competitive exhibition ("EVOLUTION OF FANTASY) and won first place and a gold medal (the "INDIGO" picture) in the category of SURREALISM.
