I was born in 1949, Siberia and lived in Novosibirsk region for nearly 30 years. I spent my childhood in the village wherethere were no children's art studios. But my desire to draw was so strong! In 1968 I graduated from the Novosibirsk "Cultprosvet" School, then worked as an artist - designer. Then, while serving in the Army designed the Lenin room. After the service I continued to work as a designer in Zdvinsk RDK of Novosibirsk region. I had been working with experienced artists for a long time. I didn't feel any joy of creativity working as a designer because I had to do a lot of tedious work. I really enjoyed painting in the eighties in Moscow. Also became interested in wood sculpture. Entered Russian University of Theatre Arts (GITIS), and then connected my life with a professional circus, sketching circus costumes, and completely made my own graduation performance. In 1989 I decided to bring my works to the audience, in the Izmailovo Park in Moscow. It was a pleasant surprise that my works arranged on a park path attracted a lot of viewers. In 1989-1991 a lot of my works were sold to Germany, America, Israel, Australia. It so happened that I didn't make pictures of my first works and now regret about it. I tried to paint matryoshka dolls changing the traditional Russian way of decorating to the circus one. Since 1992 had been travelling abroad till 1998. Working as an illusionist I spent a few years moving froim one place to another. Since 1995 I live in France. The subject and the technique of my works have been gradually changing. Making models for circus posters, I began using an airbrush. I held three solo exhibitions in Rennes (Maison Internationale de Rennes) and Nantes, France. In November 2003 participated in a group exhibition «Forum art et d? Coration» in the Bonnefontaine castle.
