Was born and grew upp in Lviv, Ukraine.
I was educated at the mathematical school
, then in
the polytechnic university.
Each
artist has his own way of
painting.
Throughout schools and colleges I was drawing caricatures of teachers and fellow students. It was a beginning of my artist's career.
Working in a scientific laboratory of the university, defending the thesis, writing articles - all that was routine and uninteresting so I decided
to put an end to my career as an engineer and to get a liberal education at my own expense. In 1990 I began writing and publishing verses working at odd jobs to finance my education.
I also studied Orthodox theology at the Church of the Intercession of Lutsk. Finally the desire to imitate Maximilian Voloshin, Nicholas Roerich, Taras Shevchenko, William Blake moved me to make a synthesis of visual and verbal creativity. "There are two men inside the artist, the poet and the craftsman" - Emile Zola to Paul Cezanne, 16 April, 1860
.
In 2005 I showed the album with the cartoon to the famous Lviv artist Zenoviy Ketsalo who at some instant became my spiritual father in painting and opened the door for me, gave me his blessing to painting in oil.
I think an artist's profession and his talent don't have a direct bearing on his studies in higher education.
I took part in three collective exhibitions in the city of Lutsk - "Autumn Saloon 2009", "Winter 2009", "Christmas carols / winter 2010-2011.
