On the question of how he became a painter, Sergey Govorov responds: "First of all, I owe my talent to God, because I believe that it was given to me from above. The second thing is that it is not enough just to have a talent. It is necessary to exert maximum effort to achieve progress in something. There were years of study at the Faculty of Fine Arts (National University of Arts, Moscow), years of searches. Besides, I love what I do. Perhaps all these are the components I consist of as an artist. Furthermore, I believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, and try to follow his commandments. Though more often I fall face in the dirt, where I give my weak voice from. "
The artist Sergey Govorov works in the genre of landscape painting, as he believes that it's impossible not to love parents or city where you were born.
