I was born in the last century in Novgorod city. A special atmosphere of olden time, an abundance of churches and rare provincial cleanliness of relations between people, - all this have determined such peculiar perception of the phenomena and events. I was never taught drawing, but so far as I recollect, I have been drawing. I did not attend art schools and have no idea about the classical method in painting (I'm even not sure if it exists, but the word is really beautiful). Therefore, my paintings are only attempts to behold the present time serenly and creating dreams from the surrounding boring world leaving the future to the care of Destiny.
