Artist's website: The art technique I use is called “mosaic on canvas” – the kind of oil painting resembles mosaic or stained glass. In this process I pay more attention even not to the imitation of mosaic with brushes and paints but to the opportunity to compose my own solid world of many faces within the plane of the canvas, where each cell means a volume brink of my imaginary space.
