Alexander Erman has graduated from MAI (Moscow Architectural Institute) in 1998, worked in design companies LARA DIT, ROZHDESTVENKA and A-B. Together with Oleg Klodt, founded ERMAN& KLODT design studio in 2000. During over 12 years of successful work company became one of the leading interior design studio in Russia. Over the course of that time dozen apartments, country houses, movie theatres, churches as well as such unique objects as film studio and a cloister (monastery) were designed.
Starting at 2009 Erman headed his own architecture studio, designing objects under ALEXANDER ERMAN trademark.

Besides architecture and interior design, Alexander Erman devotes part of his time to developing one of a kind furniture, interior objects, art objects and painting.

Starting from 2012 Erman teaches at the Moscow Architectural Institute.
