Igor Mishenev is an avant-garde artist born and lives in Moscow. A musician by profession, he had a passion for painting since his youth, but took up it recently. Having started his journey in painting with pure abstraction, he went beyond its scope and works in a wide range of genres of modern painting, from surrealism to modernism and expressionism. He graduated with honors from the school of abstract painting at the Union of Abstractionists of Russia and has been a member of the Union of Abstractionists of Russia since 2022. He took part in several collective exhibitions, including the “Russian Talents” exhibition at the New Tretyakov Gallery in 2022 in the Surrealism category with the painting “Headlight, Snail, Moth.”
